The key thing in this role is Project Management encompassing the below.
Interacts with client to provide clarification, updates and handle escalations always focusing on customer satisfaction. Drives customer meetings and assigns requests. Responsible for working with delivery teams to ensure proper tasks get executed according to requirements and IBM time frame is met. Control the financial aspect of the requests to ensure proper hours have been booked timely and are within budget and understands business processes and procedures to ensure customer gets the deliverable with the highest possible quality.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, strong ownership, flexibility and judgement, excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities, focus on continuous improvement, ability to learn internal tools and systems to store and report project related information. Must excel in defect tracking and document management systems, and be able to communicate to team leads and management.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Work with business process owners, tool and data architects, and management to deliver projects.
Simplify, extract and join data sources to provide data/views in support of strategic business management processes and decisions.
Gather requirements, understand the source systems, existing process, data purpose, make recommendations.
Ensure data integrity and quality of deliverables.
Understand a project plan and provide timely updates on the status of expected deliverables.
Ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple projects.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in data, processes and tools in the following areas: resource management, cost management, and business controls
- At least 3 years experience in working with a team to provide client delivery support
- At least 3 years experience in Microsoft Excel and Project software
- At least 3 years experience in Consulting, System Integration, ERP, CRM, Web, Analytics
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Business/Management
- At least 4 years experience in data, processes and tools in the following areas: resource management, cost management, and business controls
- At least 4 years experience in working with a team to provide client delivery support
- At least 4 years experience in Microsoft Excel and Project software
- At least 4 years experience in Consulting, System Integration, ERP, CRM, Web, Analytics
