Technical training sessions to associate and support team.

Senior Investigator - Safaricom

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Fraud Investigations, the Senior Investigator will provide support to the Fraud Management team by undertaking fraud, forensic & other investigations including extracting, analyzing and interpreting data, gathering evidence, summarizing & reporting information gathered and other complex business information in a well understood manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Ensure that all offences of fraud, theft and dishonesty against Safaricom are investigated & reported in a consistent manner;
  • Obtain information required to form an initial assessment of these offences and identify areas of loss;
  • Professionally and forensically gather evidence to be used to support these offences;
  • Prepare investigation reports with the objective of presenting evidence gathered in a professional and concise manner;
  • Perform regular reviews of exceptions reported in business information by analyzing, interpreting, summarizing and presenting for further investigations;
  • Assist in funds tracing, asset identification and asset recovery within fraud cases that have been proven;
  • Proactively gather relevant information that can lead to prevention or discovery of fraud.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Commerce/Criminology/Accounting/Law/Forensics;
  • 3 years working experience in an audit or fraud management departments in a Blue Chip company;
  • Proven work experience in forensic investigations or having undertaken extensive investigative assignments, in a blue chip company, is mandatory;
  • Certification in CPA (K), ACCA or CFE will be an added advantage;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as testimonies, police reports, operating & maintenance instructions and legal regulations;
  • Experience in carrying out interviews and interrogations is mandatory;
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Proficiency in the use of ACL or other widely used data analysis applications
  • Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills;
  • Attention to details and result oriented;
  • Must have the ability to work within strict deadlines under minimum supervision;

Indigo Account Manager - HP

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, this role is focused on growing the penetration of HP Indigo in the packaging industry, creating a strong funnel of customers, securing and maximizing sales & enabling HP Indigo to create a strong install base able to drive profitable impression growth to us & our customers. The sales specialist must act as the lead expert in product knowledge in all dimensions (product knowledge, pricing, Total Cost of Ownership, marketing, customer requirements)
As part of the HP Indigo team, the candidate will have end to end accountability on the HP Indigo Hardware; Supplies & Services business for the packaging segment within his/her assigned territory.

Main responsibilities:
1. Identify and execute to sales opportunities ensure HP Indigo wins in the market through technology adoption within it’s IB, within the competitive IB & via adjacent opportunities
2. Identify all risk and inhibitors to business success. Seek support from stakeholders to initiate  risk mitigation strategies to reduce or neutralize threat 
3. Drive Supplies and services revenues in parallel to Hardware within customer
4. Grow Share of wallet for customer
5. Engaged in both new business and existing accounts, you'll define and implement sales strategies and plans that will outperform quota and deliver net profit.

Qualifications

Required Skills: 
• 5+ years of sales experience in the packaging converting or digital printing industry. Digital printing knowledge will be valuable but not a must
• Previous strong sales experience in high touch businesses. Proven experience in handling long sales cycles in big accounts.

Regional Lead of Program Management Africa - Google

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

As Regional lead of Program Management for Emerging Markets, you’ll lead the regional Ops team during deployment of relevant Google products in your region. You will provide the leadership, decision-making ability and impeccable business judgment to drive multiple complex projects and to lead large teams of vendors/partners. Your responsibilities will include managing strategic Emerging Market efforts such as self-sourcing GPS vehicle tracking devices to create traffic layer on Google Maps. This includes concept definition, implementation, pilot execution, and (if successful) scaling it across the countries in your region. Managing the support operations (i.e., quality assurance, chat support, creation of websites, etc.) content acquisition for all Emerging Market products such as Trader, Confucius, etc. This requires support for multiple editions in several different languages. Administrative Assistant - US Embassy

The Regional Cooperative Engagement Office (RCEO) has an opening for the position of Administrative Assistant. The position will be available immediately. The closing date of this position is October 23, 2013.

Minimum Requirements
Qualification Reqired
BS/BA degree in Sociology, Program Management, Social Work, or Society/Community studies is required.
Two (2) years of experience managing/organizing project related activities is required.  
Level IV (Fluent) English ability and Level III Kiswahili ability are required. 

Other Criteria 
Must have knowledge of administrative/accounts office procedures  
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.

Job Specification
Under the supervision of the RCEO Chief, serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP).  The incumbent serves as a prime contact for the Program within CDC Kenya and coordinates activities between the Program and its various stakeholders.  Coordinates administrative activities with other CDC Program sections and ensures smooth functioning of the CBEP office.

Duties & Responsibilities                                                                                 
Performs a range of diverse administrative activities for the Cooperative Biological Engagement Program. 35%
Serves as a central point of liaison with other departments and external constituencies in the resolution of a variety of day-to-day matters concerning the program.           
Schedules and coordinates appointments and maintains calendars, schedules, coordinates and facilitates meetings, facilitates events and/or travel arrangements, appointments and/or similar activities for supervisor.                                                                                
Provides administrative/secretarial support for the RCEO such as answering and making telephone calls, screening email messages, faxing, photocopying, typing inter office correspondence and other official correspondence, assisting visitors and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries, control incoming and outgoing correspondence and follow up on operational commitments.                                                                    
Provides administrative support to CBEP visitors and coordinates meetings on their behalf
Attends official meetings when necessary (CDC, US Embassy, Kenyan Government) and provides written summaries
Assists with tracking CBEP program activities and will liaise with other program stakeholders as appropriate
Requisitions and follows up on supplies, stationery, printing, maintenance and other services from the relevant offices.     
Assists with monitoring CBEP program field activities

Travel Coordination   30%                                  
Preparation of travel requests and travel orders for local and international travel as deemed necessary from time to time.  Liaise with Express Travel Office to ensure that all the travel requests and travel orders are delivered to them to enable them to release tickets on time. 
Liaise with Express Travel Office to ensure airport pick-ups and transfers are done for the Program staff.  Follow up on travel advances and reimbursement vouchers with FMC before/after each travel to ensure that they have been processed and paid.

Maintenance of budgets and expenses logs. Will be responsible for budget maintenance of Program.
Monitors and assists with fiscal administration for the Program, including following up on invoices with the relevant offices.
Coordinates financial issues for the RCEO with the CDC Financial section, Embassy FMC and GSO offices
Maintains RCEO yearly CBEP budget
Establishes, maintains and updates files, databases, records and/or other documents for the RCEO.  Establishes, updates and maintains the RCEO’s financial log in system on all the correspondence from the various components of the Program
