Job description
The successful candidate for Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs Manager for Kenya will have extensive experience of engaging with external organizations, including government, community leaders, NGOs, Think Tanks and the education sector, and be able to apply this to contexts within the country. They will have outstanding written and oral communication skills and strong proficiency in English, and a high level of experience in negotiation at a senior level. They will represent IBM in the community and demonstrate thought leadership. They will be self-directed and creative in identifying solutions and building coalitions to achieve results. They will require exceptional skills in collaboration with other IBM function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To manage successful implementation and impact of global Corporate Citizenship programs in Kenya, adapting programs to country and regional internal and external priorities, and identifying opportunities for collaborative leveraging To develop sustained partnerships and relationships with key organizations and influences relevant to programmes and the business.
To raise the profile of the IBM corporation locally focusing on IBM as a leader in innovation, corporate citizenship and CSR, and an attractive employer.
To work with the marketing and communications team in country to ensure effective communication of IBM key messages and strategies relating to CC&CA and CSR to internal and external audiences, and coordinate with other IBM functions including HR, Government Programmes, environmental management. Be recognized as a team player in the community and within IBM. Manage budget for delivery of CC & CA programmes in country and associated processes and business controls
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in Good Communication Skills, Team Player and good organisation skills
- At least 5 years experience in Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs
- At least 5 years experience in Powerpoint presentations
- At least 5 years experience in proactively driving action plans based on the results.
- At least 5 years experience in Market Branding
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Business/Management
- At least 6 years experience in Good Communication Skills, Team Player and good organisation skills
- At least 6 years experience in Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs
- At least 6 years experience in Powerpoint presentations
