• Drive customer focus need-based selling agenda - deepen customer relationship and maximize penetration
• Develop and grow the NTB Channels with a vision to become market leader.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Business Driver
• Deliver budgeted business volume and sales productivity
• Plan, drive and monitor NTB Channels sales strategies - segment focus, customer focus needs-based selling, increase PPC holding
through multi / bundles around anchor product
• Establish and address agenda of top issues / opportunities to improve performance and growth ensuring a robust people and
performance management system for optimal productivity and efficiency.
Customer Experience
• Create right sales culture and direction that match the Bank’s strategy
• Owner of sales processes and practices, responsible for approval & sales controllable error rates, TAT etc
• Being measured against overall customer satisfaction scoring, at the same time ensure that the monitoring process is clearly defined.
Financial Objective
• MIS accuracy and discipline
• Effective resources allocation, capacity and cost management linked to participation model and related product / segment strategy and focus
Ensure an effective and competitive fixed to variable, quantitative to qualitative compensation scheme across sales teams and levels.
• Periodic review with stakeholders on the NTB Channels deliverables and effectiveness
People Management
• Owner of the NTB Channels
• Energize the NTB Channels positively to deliver the best result
• Implement effective HR standards and strategies, manage succession plan, retain key talent, constant discipline in performance
management
• Engage Training to address training needs, implement training roadmaps
• Achieve desire Gallup Q12 score
Governance Responsibilities
• Ensure the sub-channel is 100% compliance with rules and regulations, ensure adherence to operational risk controls and procedures
in day-to-day sub-channel management
• Ensure sub-channel’s discipline in HR and training related matters, Operational Risk standards , zero tolerance on risk and compliance
breaches
• Implement processes to prevent mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud and adhere to customer data confidentiality principles.
• Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements, reflect best practices
• Being measured against the overall ORMAF standards of the NTB channel
• Achieve good audit rating, ensure no adverse findings in internal / external audit, governance, compliance and GIA reviews
• To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit
Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager
Qualifications & Skills
• Relevant tertiary education in areas of Marketing and Business Management.
• In-depth knowledge in all Consumer Banking products and basic knowledge for corresponding CIBG products.
• In-depth knowledge in Banking practices, regulations and credit policies.
• High level of technical competencies in,
- Competitor awareness
- Customer segmentation / requirements
- Training, presentation and selling skills
• Minimum 5 to 8 years working experience in Consumer Banking.
Strong inter-personal communication skills with wide exposure to team orientation
and people management skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills in presenting alternative financing terms and conditions to maximise return and minimise credit risk in closing related financial deals.
