Sales Manager-Mortgage Anchor Team - STANDARD CHARTERED BANK


Job Description
To lead the Mortgage Sales Anchor Team to achieve sales targets  and Drive Mortgage Loan business for Developer Relationship Model (DRM) Sales Team of New Business
Key Roles & Responsibilities
SALES MANAGEMENT 
•  Implement sales strategy and tactical plans in accordance with mortgage targets 
•  Set monthly / weekly  mortgage targets for the anchor team and ensure they achieve these targets, through regular monitoring and coaching 
•  Product training to team members. 
•  Organize sales activations in development sites, companies, Expos and other Real Estate forums and develop a lead generation tracking mechanism from the activities 
•  Identify real estate partners and Developers as part of strategic alliance and initiatiate intermediary tie-ups aimed at growing the mortgage book 
•  Implement and track Standards of Performance and Key Performance Indicators for the sales team. 
SERVICE MANAGEMENT 
•  Ensure that you and your team fully understand the Customer Due Diligence & Anti-Money Laundering Group Policy and are adequately trained in the same Service Management 
•  Ensure excellent customer experience during the account opening and loan application process 
•  Ensure daily  tracking and  timely  resolution of customer queries/complaints, where applicable 
•  Continuously improve on processes through service storming sessions. 
CONTROLS 
Ensure sales process is followed and staff are well trained  to avoid miss-selling 
Reporting of suspicious transactions 
Ensure that Customer Due Diligence to be applied when selling products or opening accounts
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, internally and externally 
Strong sales and relationship skills 
Strong leadership, decision-making and management abilities 
Knowledge of the Real Estate Market in Kenya and the  competitive environment 
A good performance track record 
University degree / banking diploma and / or experience with at least 1 years sales experience in the banking industry
