Chemonics seeks development specialists for long- and short-term assignments for the anticipated USAID-funded Kenya Program Support project, which will provide direct assistance to USAID/Kenya. The project will support USAID/Kenya in meeting daily information needs to make program management decisions and provide qualitative, quantitative, and analytical information to assist in continually assessing and evaluating its development hypothesis. The project will also assist USAID/Kenya with its public education goals by providing qualitative and anecdotal evidence on the effects of projects on the lives of beneficiaries. We are looking for individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Background in one or more of the following technical areas: monitoring and evaluation, statistics, economics and trade, health, agriculture, environment, energy, engineering, education, democracy and governance, public policy, human capacity development, outreach and communications, gender, and conflict prevention
- Minimum five years of experience in a technical area listed above
- Experience working with USAID or other international donor organizations preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluent written and oral English required
