This position will provide programmatic and technical support to AWF’s Heartland program as a member of the program technical leadership team.
DUTIES
Working under AWF’s President, the CPM provides support to AWF’s technical leadership team in various cross-cutting program issues. The CPM’s work will include tracking financial and technical resources needed to fulfill stated objectives, developing relationships with technical and donor partners, and refining/updating AWF’s various planning and monitoring tools. The CPM is a key interdepartmental link within AWF, working with program, finance and philanthropy to strengthen systems focused on improving the funding pipeline and integration of financial management and program implementation. Further, the CPM works as a partner to AWF’s program design team by providing strategic support on proposal design and development, and supporting technical donor relationships with government agencies through timely technical reporting. The CPM will be a highly visible position within AWF. There will be regular and meaningful contact with AWF’s executive team and all technical leaders within AWF. Further, through work on AWF’s Performance and Impact Assessment (PIMA) system, the CPM will contribute directly to AWF’s annual report and periodic reporting to the Board of Trustees. This position is a unique opportunity for an early to mid-career conservation professional.
