Educational Requirements

Interns must currently be enrolled as a student - (i.e. going back to school to continue with studies after your internship) in a public or accredited private academic institution undertaking a Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma. Diploma applicants must only be studying engineering courses. 

Qualitative Requirements:

• A successful intern has a desire to gain professional experience and is incredibly eager to learn.
• Strong listening skills are also required to perform this role.
• Oral and written communication skills, the ability to follow directions, as well as not being afraid to ask questions will ensure a productive internship.

Stock Accountant - Unilever

Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

Responsible for all Trade Debtors both Concern and Third party by timely capturing of data to ledger, providing weekly update of trade debtors, updating Warehouse stocks for allocation to customers and doing reconciliations as required. Also responsible for Accounts payables for shipping lines and transporters of tea.

Support in the preparation of monthly financial reporting and quarterly preparation of company statutory accounts.

The Position

Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for the management and implementation of the KCB Group Foundation strategies, plans and programs. The plans and programs are oriented around corporate responsibility with a theme basis in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise Development, Health, Environment, Education and Humanitarianism.

Urban Specialist - World Bank

The urban development and disaster risk management portfolio in the Africa Region is large, diverse and rapidly growing. The portfolio comprises of 33 ongoing lending projects currently under supervision, 16 under preparation with Board delivery dates in FY15 and FY16, and a large number of AAA activities under preparation and Trust Funds under execution. A large pipeline is also envisaged over the coming period, as urbanization becomes an increasing priority for the Africa continent, so that urbanization can lead to growth and high productivity, while contributing significantly to poverty alleviation and shared prosperity. Context/Scope:

The Company operates in the premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sector. EABL is an integrated Supply & Demand business with 4 key markets Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania, Uganda Breweries in Uganda, Kenya Breweries in Kenya and EABLi which is spread across the Great Lakes region inclusive of South Sudan. Conservation Enterprise Officer - AWF
